About Richard:
I think no matter how different a person thinks they are we're all pretty much the same. We all like going out with friends, trying new things, visiting new places. Who doesn't like to laugh or have a good time? Everyone (should) expect honesty and trust, though some people don't always seem to give it. So, I guess I'm really just like everyone else in those ways. I would have to say that my strongest trait would be my sense of humor - I love to laugh and (try to) make other people laugh. My humor tends to be sarcastic, but I make fun of myself as much as I make fun of anything else.
Hobbies:
I enjoy working with computers. Thankfully, I have a job that lets me do that - it's a good feeling to be able to get paid to do what you love doing. I grew up in the woods of northern Canada, so I really love the outdoors - camping, hiking, fishing, you name it. I tend to read more than I watch TV, and for some strange reason I love science. There's just so much neat stuff out there, I love learning new things.
Looking for:
So what am I looking for? I guess, in the end, I'm just looking for someone to be my partner, my equal... After that.. Well, I'd like to find someone who is willing to have deep and/or absurd conversations. Someone with some intelligence and humor; someone who's willing to wax philosophical at late hours of the night or carry a silly conversation to the extreme. I hope to find someone who's flexible and open minded about life, and is willing to discuss their convictions as well.
